The Park

Wow! What a find. We have been working with the State DNR for over 2 years and finally we have a OHV Park in Northwestern Illinois. 216 acres of the old Peabody Coal processing facility. The coal company closed over 40 years ago and Mother Nature has created some of the best riding ground you will ever see.

We have 100 acres of undiscovered timber with lakes and hills, 116 acres of desert-like riding with lakes (you discover how deep they are), hills and valleys, and some of the most open and unrestricted riding you will find this side of California. For the more conservative riders, our perimeter road is over 4 miles long and has some beautiful vistas.

Coming in the near future will be a 75-site campground, a connecting trail to the Village of Atkinson, a stadium-style supercross track, a motocross track, a kids-only riding area, and seats for Mom so she can keep track of the next generation of dirt riders. So come and enjoy the Atkinson Motorsports Park (Gob Hill). Also, keep in mind the park is right across the street from Shabbona Creek RV, one of the Midwest's largest RV dealers.
